Terms of Use — FastLine

By using the "FastLine" or "FastLine Captain" app you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The service

FastLine is a technology platform (operator: FastLine) that connects riders and parcel senders with independent captains in Jordan, including: in-city rides, intercity trips (including shared rides), order and parcel delivery, and hourly or daily car-with-driver bookings.

2. Eligibility and account

• You must be 18 or older.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• One account per person; accounts are not transferable.

3. Prices and payment

• An estimated fare is shown before you confirm and is calculated from the price tables published in the app (including intercity route prices, car-with-driver rates, extra-kilometre fees and their caps).
• Fares for trips within a governorate and for orders are based on the actual road distance between the points (if it cannot be calculated at that moment, it is estimated from the direct distance), and you are never booked at a higher fare than the one you confirmed without your approval.
• Payment is currently made in cash to the captain at the end of the service, unless stated otherwise in the app.
• For orders, the sender chooses who pays the fare: the sender or the recipient.

4. Cancellations and fines

• You can cancel in the app; a fine may apply in the cases shown before you confirm, including no-shows on intercity trips and late cancellations after a captain has confirmed.
• Car with driver: cancelling is free before any captain accepts the booking, within 10 minutes of the acceptance, or 24 hours or more before the start time; otherwise 20% of the booking applies as compensation to the captain, as shown in the app before you confirm.
• Accumulated unpaid fines may restrict your account until settled.

5. Code of conduct (zero tolerance)

Strictly prohibited: harassment, abuse, discrimination or threats; offensive content in ratings, complaints or calls; fraud or manipulation of prices or accounts; and sending prohibited, dangerous or illegal items in orders. We investigate reports and take appropriate action, up to permanent suspension and reporting to the authorities.

6. Captain obligations

• Hold a valid driving licence and a licensed, insured, roadworthy vehicle, and pass document verification (KYC).
• Obey traffic laws and the route and fare shown, and never ask for extra money outside the app.
• Captains are independent service providers; the platform commission is deducted as published in the app.

7. Ratings

Ratings must reflect a genuine experience; we may remove abusive or misleading ratings.

8. Limitation of liability

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but it is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by Jordanian law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for users' conduct outside the platform.

9. Suspension and termination

You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the courts of Amman have jurisdiction over any dispute.

11. Changes and contact
